Antiquing is an art. There’s no feeling quite like giving a new home to a piece of furniture, decoration, work of art, etc., that you discovered in an unlikely place. Even more fascinating is the story behind each piece — so much history that you get to continue on. If vintage and repurposed pieces are your jam, then Front Porch Pickins is the place for you! Each item is special and its own, so you’ll have plenty to choose from. And lucky for you, there’s a setup right here in Peoria!
The Story Behind It
The FPP market currently takes place in five different cities: Peoria, Glendale, Las Vegas, Nashville, and Chandler. But, before it was what it is today, it was just an idea had by three moms who loved a good vintage deal. None of them knew it would turn into a massive market with hundreds of pickers, designers, and artisans. The goal is for everyone to find something they love!
When To Go
FPP is on the second Saturday of the month in Peoria. If you’re looking to come before it ends in May, you have a few more chances!
- Jan 11th
- February 8th
- March 14th
- April 11th
- May 9th
How To Become A Vendor
FPP is always looking for talent to put before their audience of thousands. Along with all of that, you’ll also receive press coverage. You don’t have to have market experience, but you’ve got to have “it.” By “it,” they mean talent! The market application is online and requires photos of your work and links to social media platforms so they can really see what you’re working with. There is also a one-time fee for the booth rental, and that will cover all events until May of 2020.
You’ve probably heard of a few of the brands that make these markets happen! Some familiar names include Young Living Essential Oils, Lucas Oil, LuLaRoe, Renewal by Andersen, Trailer Trash Photo Booth, Rustalgic, and Modern Revival.
